After 2 years at SUNY on Long Island and 4 years active duty in the United State Marines, I enrolled and studied Graphic Design, at Rochester Institute of Technology in upstate New York. Afterwards I held several design positions and was the Art Director for an affiliate network TV station for 12 years. In the late 1990s I shifted my focus to my fine art career and photography.
My paintings have been juried into and won awards in competitions and group shows in Maine and Arizona. Besides being a former Vice President of the Scottsdale Artist League in the late 90s, I am also a past member of the Sebascodeagan Artists in Maine, the Boothbay Regional Arts Foundation in Maine, and the Sonoran Arts League in Cave Creek, Arizona as well as several national art organizations.
I have recently discovered and have added to my collection of quotes, this one by Pericles.
'What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others.'
I sincerely hope you will browse thru my works and perhaps find something to enjoy and weave into your life or that of a loved one.
And when you purchase one of my pieces of art I trust you will agree
that it was a wise INVESTMENT IN JOY & INSPIRATION...for both of us!
Thank you so much for visiting my art. I look forward to your return.
