Born and raised in Memphis, TN.. Studied painting and drawing at The Univ. of Memphis and at East Tennessee State Univ.. Has taught college for 40 years, Worked as a muralist for a company in Memphis, owned and operated a business producing artwork and custom woodworking for the motel industry. Coached women's tennis for 20 years at the college level. Presently retired.
