I was born in Washington DC and have spent most of my time in northern Virginia. I live in Leesburg with my wife and 2 young kids. Photography has become a passion for me in the last few years. It actually really grew out of toy photography! A lot of my work here is toy photography - Star Wars, Marvel, Batman, and more. As a toy collector, it is really fun for me to bring these things to life. It allows me to feel like a kid and an artist all at once. But I also really love nature and the outdoors which I'm just as passionate about. I was fortunate enough to travel to both Hawaii and Fiji with my wife a few years back so I have a big affinity for the tropical scenery and wildlife. I'm also a beach bum at heart so most of my favorite outdoor images will involve the beach in some capacity. While my area of Virginia isn't that close to the beach, there are still some beautiful birds, flowers, animals and other scenery that captivates me. Getting out and shooting anything gives me joy and it certainly beats sitting at a desk all day long!
