My art is created to inspire curiosity and imagination through playful abstraction. I use a variety of common household products to create interesting combinations of color and texture to make the eye and the mind wonder throughout the composition. I use a Nikon D3200 digital camera and I slightly modify my photographs using tone, contrast, and hue, and slight color enhancements. Lighting is an important factor in my work and evokes a rich emphasis on fluid curves of strong color and shadow. I stage my photos in small intimate settings to find beauty at close range. My inspiration can come just as sporadic as a random thought or a daydream. I want the viewer to have their own experience when embracing my photographs and to be inspired through their own imaginations. What do you see?
