This photograph of three otters was taken along the Androscoggin River in Turner, Maine in October of 2016. I was taking some photos of a small deer and there was a doe and a buck with the little one. The buck snorted when he heard me snapping photos which caused these otters to come out and to see what the commotion was all about. The river is very low right now, so this little family is living in up on a small beach....I thought the otter peeking out from under the log was adorable.
