Description
While I was going in for a macro shot of this bright golden yellow poppy, this tiny but beautiful wasp landed right near the center of the flower... I quickly zoomed in even closer, hoping that I could capture the wonderful patterns on his back and the details of his delicate, nearly transparent and slightly iridescent wings. Once I saw the raw image, I decided that I really wanted to fill the frame with the marvelous color of the flower.... I was pleased that I was able to crop down and still maintain clarity on the little wasp, set against the soft, dreamy floral background....
