Description
It's been twenty nine years since I painted Victory Boulevard at Dawn, my long popular image of the view across New York Harbor from Staten Island's North Shore. Given the trauma and history we Staten Islanders experience, it seemed appropriate to recreate the vista, including the Freedom Tower where the Twin Towers once stood. 90 second video on the process at this address: https://vimeo.com/87968489
