This cathedral is probably most famous for its association with Joan of Arc. The French heroine attended evening Mass in this cathedral on May 2, 1429, while in the city to lift the siege of English occupiers near the end of the Hundred Years War.
Soft but vibrant light from the setting sun as well as leading lines from buildings lining Joan of Arc Street draw the eye to this imposing house of worship.
