This is one of three collage small cardboard panels I did for an art class I teach monthly... The first panel is called "The Number Code" and the second is called "Four"
For some reason,
I've always liked numbers as design elements...
almost as much as text.
It's something about the shapes,
the curves
and right angles that tickle my fancy.
I was also trying to show my students
how complementary colors
may not mix well while wet,
but when used dry,
they really turn each other on! :-)
_This mixed media collage was done on a recycled tissue box using acrylic, medical paper tape, ink, watercolor crayons, and drywall paste._
