My Grandfather Edward Logan who we called Pop Pop
He worked his entire life for the S.F.Giants and when they were also the NY Giants.
I didn't get to know him, just some small child hood memories , with us living across the states, but one thing I remember about him, was he was so dedicated to the team and the love he had for Baseball.
My Grandfather followed my Great Grand Fathers foot steps working for the team as well.
Both Grand Fathers are in the Hall Of Fame.
I hope to visit the Hall of Fame one day, and Stand Tall and Proud to Honor them both.
I was Pop Pop's first grand child and he is the first man I know that truly love his job and was so dedicated to the team and baseball, even after he retired.
If you couldn't locate Pop Pop, You always found him in the dug out.
My Sister told me something I never knew. My Grandfather created the nick name for Willie Mays... Say Hey Kid... Because Willie Mays use to say hey to everyone..... They were close friends.
