Description
This series shows original photographs were taken around my town, Fort Myers, Florida and abstract acrylic painting on canvas. Photographic images were printed, copied, and transferred onto original acrylic painted canvas surface. Once photographs were transfered, the surface of the canvas was distressed, stamped and painted again, waxed, torched, burned and sanded to offer a rustic, rugged, vintage, aged look. The photographs highlight local plants and architecture.
