Description
As my husband and I explored Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time, we turned on a road leading through an area known as the Alluvial Fan. The Alluvial Fan was created in July of 1982 as the Lawn Lake Flood changed the landscape in many beautiful ways, while at the same time creating loss of life and destruction. I especially liked the curvy road winding through a large stand of aspens. On this winter day in January, the snow, light, and shadows all combine for a nice overall effect.
