The Waters Of Pigeon Key
Artist

Medium

Description
Pigeon Key is a small island below Marathon Key and alongside the Seven Mile Bridge. It was the site of a work camp for worker's building the railroad to Key West. A number of buildings remain from that time which are now part of the Pigeon Key Historical District. To me, the waters surrounding the Key are the real beauty of the area. The diverse colors of the water mark the changing depths of the sea.
