The Wall Series was photographed in Mendocino, California.
These are the last 7 images, as i realized it was too late to move, lined up my shot and mashed the exposure button. I lost a lens, a smartphone and almost my life. Picked up by the 20 foot wave, flipped over and thrown to the volcanic rock of the Mendocino Headlands, I felt myself being carried away toward the edge and certain death. I managed to regain my feet, and stood up in 4 feet of water in an area that was dry prior. Do not tempt mother nature, she is a scornful lover. I was o.k. except a bruised ego, my lens and smart phone destroyed and my nikon still needs an over-haul. ~gene a.
