Description
As my husband and I were driving around on the backroads of Dresser, Wisconsin, we came across this old barn, nearly hidden by the trees. What made this such an exceptional sight was the hoar frost that had collected on the trees surrounding the barn. Every last tree, branch, grass, cut corn stump, or whatever was covered with the frost. Even the old silage machine in front of the barn had frost on it. In addition the ground was covered with a few inches of snow making the barn even more pronounced. In looking at the picture I decided to add a little more blue to the solemn sky just to give the picture a little more kick. Then I lightened the trees to make them show up more. Finally I darkened the already dark barn to make it fade into the backgound.
