Description

The Hoh Rainforest, considered the Quietest Place on Earth in Olympic National Park. I visited the Hoh in the summer of 2023 and it was absolutely amazing! I got there early to beat the crowds and had the trails to myself for a good portion of the time. Get there early, and go mid week and it will be the quietest place on earth.

I am a traveling artist living full time in in my self converted van. I plan to visit all the national parks and everything in between and paint all of it!
I thought it would also be nice to share some of my reference photographs that I've taken during my journey. These are simple, straight out of my phone, or Canon camera.
I don't add in any fluff or enhance the photos with starbursts or anything at all. These are the photos I'm using for my art, but I have literally thousands of them, and
hope you enjoy them and reminiscing about places you've visited or plan to visit.
