Description
This is the third variant of an image I captured a number of years ago at Airlie, just outside Warrenton, Virginia. For this one, I've rendered the pretty garden scene in high-contrast black and white that highlights the pavilion at the back of the garden and the bunch of bright flowers near center frame. I softened the edges, just a little, to avoid any harshness in the image that might detract from the mood. I think it's rather romantic, with a touch of drama, too.
