Description
SURRENDER
Have you heard it,
that almost indiscernible whisper?
It comes in the twilight hours
as you cling to the last golden embers of the day.
Softly, it entreats,
Let go, Child of the Stars,
You cannot keep
what you never really had.

Like Karen, I am also a bit concerned and wonder - where are you these days? :-)

During my daily devotions, the idea of surrender comes up almost every time. I am so concerned with what's happening in the world, our country, I feel that I have to DO something! . . . but in the end, I do realize I have to surrender control to the great Creator & put my fears & worries in those hands! this is really lovely and shows the awe inspiring power that lies there! vf

This is a beautiful scene and the lighting is so warm and peaceful! Your poem captures what I am feeling looking at this so perfectly! Twilight is a magical time where you reflect on what you have done that day and dream of what better things you shall do tomorrow!....vf

Just like a cradle of memories that place seems abandoned....one can feel a kind of emptiness dear Sandi...And the poem fills my mind with pain......Very touching!(F/L)

So beautifully serene, so enchantingly lovely, so almost otherworldly. Perhaps this is where your 'Child of the Stars' passes by...? :-)
