This is a panoramic image of the Canyon Lake East Shore right below Overlook Park, on the east shore of Canyon Lake, which is a man-made reservoir built in 1958 located northwest of the city of New Braunfels. The Guadalupe River spills its water on the other side of the contention dam, which is right behind from what I made this photograph. The making of this photograph involved me running down the hill at top speed as the sun was about to hide below the horizon, while I nervously selected an ideal composition for this shot! After I found it, I had to set up my pano gear, which I did very clumsily. I was this close to not getting the shot. Thanks for looking. FAA watermark WILL NOT show on fine art print.
