I visited Sam Houston Park on an early December Sunday morning to photograph Downtown Houston during twilight. Not disappointed by the colors in the sky, I walked by Houston City Hall, -one of the last stands of photogenic Art Deco architecture in town- while all of the sudden the clouds lit up with such soft shades of pastel not seen in a long time. I had to squeeze the most out of this very early photo session (woke up at 5:30 AM) and keep shooting....I almost got chased out by a security guard. I don't know what's with photographers and tripods that really scare some folks.
