Description
I did this painting by combining two of my photographic images also shown in my galleries: Storm Clouds Over Michigan Farm At Sunrise and Percheron Colt And Mare In Pasture Digital Art. I loved the look of the receding thunderheads gleaming white in the rising sun from the first photo, and the mare and colt photo has always been one of my favorites - Eli was just the most beautiful colt and Rinda is one of my favorite mares. I had to try to paint them, and the neighbors' farm in the first photo is beyond the pasture they were pictured in, so it made sense to create a painting where the two were combined. I hope you enjoy it - I had fun painting it!
