Description
This painting shows the sheer speed and movement that Acrylic paint can create, this express train is speeding along against the blue sun, portraying the element of excitement and power.
Hand painted (with my fingers) to achieve the element of life I could get closer to obtaining this using my fingers as a vessel and extension of Art for Art.

Trains have been such an important part of our history in the West, Emma. My Grandfather retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. My father once worked there as well before we moved to Tucson. Here in Vail, we are just a short distance away from a rail road crossing and hear trains all the time. Your image here floods me with many wonderful memories. I too love trains.........fav/ like

Is the speed created by the paint as you say or is it created by a woman called Emma :-))) love it !

Wow, this is stunning. Funny, Emma, looking at this you can almost feel the power and the wind from the train. Tremendously done.
Emma Childs replied:
Thank you so much Sharyn, yes I felt this one whilst painting it, it wanted to speed off the paper I think!! x :)
