I love turtles, especially sea turtles. I have not had an affection for these snappers since one ate my fav coy, named Lemon drop (I found his head). We relocated that darn turtle three times and then had to kill it; it would not stay at the lake that we live by, kept walking all the way back to my much smaller pond to get the food that was easier I guess! However, this is an excellent shot... you image gave this little guy some character that even I can like!

Lol, Ann. The other pic I took of her shows her serrated tail in its entirety, and the piles of mud and algae all over her shell. She was definitely very determined to get down that hill and couldn't care less that I was taking photos of her. :) Thanks for your comment.
