Slot Canyon Sunlight

Description
A beam of sunlight pierces the narrow walls of Lower Antelope Canyon near Page in Arizona. The beautiful sandstone colors change with every twist and turn of your journey light keeps on changing.
Antelope Canyon was formed by the erosion of Navajo Sandstone due to flash flooding and other sub-aerial processes. Rainwater runs into the vast basin above the slot canyon sections, picking up speed and sand as it rushes into the narrow passageways. Over time the passageways have eroded away, which has deepened the corridors and smoothed hard edges to form those wonderful "flowing" shapes.
