Description
One of the first images I'm pretty excited about sharing from Iceland. We spent quite a bit of our 2 weeks at this waterfall, called Sk�gafoss near Sk�gar, Iceland. Much of the time was dominated by low clouds and rain from upslope flow over the mountains and nearby Eyjafjallaj�kull volcano. On this evening the clouds briefly parted and I wanted to get a sun star from this vantage point on a ledge above the falls. Went I hiked up some low clouds moved over but ended up lighting up and making for a beautiful warm sky above the rich foliage and thundering waterfall!
