On a visit to Seaside, Oregon, I met this delightful Bichon Shih Tzu pup. He wanted to say hi to everyone on the promenade. His personality captured my heart and so here is a shot that hopefully gives you the opportunity to feel the love he so easily shares. His name is Charlie and he lives somewhere further north in Washington State.

Bichon Shih Tzu, also known as Shichons or Zuchons are a designer dog which means that they are a mix two other breeds. They are a cross between the Mediterranean Bichon frise and oriental Shih Tzu. It is a relatively new breed, but it has become quite popular in a short period of time. The Zuchon is not an official breed, but only a cross-breed.
