Description
Cheers was a big hit sitcom in the 80's and early 90's. It was based on a bar of the same name in Boston Massachusetts. The bar has stood the test of time having been established in 1895. The show was known for very memorable characters such as Sam Malone, Cliff Clavin and Norm Peterson to name just a few. Norm was welcomed by name from all in the bar whenever he walked in and always sat in the same corner stool. This was so well established on the show that the actual bar in boston now has a plaque at the spot that states Norm's Spot!
