I grew up just outside Chicago. Trips into the city were moments of wonder--the hustle-and-bustle of the city with big shoulders, architectural wonders with buildings soaring above the lakefront, the memories run deep! Old school and new school architecture juxtaposed on the Chicago skyline still bring wonder with each visit as an adult. The view from the crossover walkway at the Adams and Wabash "L" station is classic Chicago. Generations of high-rise architecture form a human-made canyon for the Windy City's iconic elevated trains. Chicago's Trump building is perfectly framed by the "canyon" entrance.
