Inspired by a pencil drawing by one of my favorite junior high art students, Tonya Parks, this mixed media red rose design is composed of my traditional watercolor interpretation with a digital background scan of a handmade lace doily crafted by my Great Grandmother many, many years ago. These components were compiled and enhanced utilizing Photostudio CC software.
