Planted by my Nana (Katherine Hanson) these Rhododendruns bloom year after year and are happy for pruning care. Photographed May 9, 2018 outside my studio in Monroe, Virginia (Blue Ridge Mountains). Born and raised in Florida, Spring was like a myth people talked about, even believed in, but I had never seen. Now I don’t just see spring, I capture it’s beauty to hold on to forever, without picking the flowers! Still, photos will never do the majesty of seeing it with your own eyes, justice, and yet I try anyway. I hope you enjoy!
