Just loving this relic of boats mixed in and among the more modern and well kept boats in Boothbay Harbor. I happen to love older, wooden boats like this beauty! Her pealing paint and her absent name gives us time to imagine her in her prime. She still floats and I hope that her owners still take her out from time to time to show the big guys how it's done! She might not be glamorous, but she has a taste of what life was like back in the day when we only sailed wooden boats. I am sure she has many stories to tell, but will keep them to herself and her family. I took this photo inside Boothbay Harbor while we were sailing up the coast of Maine. We are about to venture north again and I really hope I see her again! She is just precious!
