Watercolor of a golden sunset behind trees, reflecting in a lake, by Conni Schaftenaar.
A friend has a cottage on Bitely Lake, a couple of hours north of where I live. She took some photos across the lake, standing at her cottage, one morning as the sun was up, but only just. She emailed them to me, saying, "you should paint these!"
This view looks southwest across the lake, with the setting sun going down behind the trees, silhouetting them and reflecting the trees and sunset in a nearly still lake.
