This beautiful red barn lies in the outskirts of Paonia on the western slope of Colorado. The area around Paonia is known for its orchards which produce peaches, apples, cherries, pears, and plums. In addition, several vineyards and wineries have been established in the area. The Living Farm Cafe, in downtown Paonia, is the ultimate farm to table restaurant. It features farm-fresh and organic produce, meat, cheese and eggs from their farm and others in the area, such as this farm, Because the Living Farm Cafe uses such fresh ingredients, I couldn't help but notice the tasty difference in my meal. If you are ever in Paonia, be sure to look for this beautiful barn and enjoy a meal at the Living Farm Cafe.
