This is a photograph of a Randall Model 1, constructed as an all purpose fighting knife for Allied combat troops in World War II and widely used in all theaters of war. The name Randall is well known and highly desired in the world of knife collectors. There are many different models now, but this was what started it all. But, all their knives are customer designed to fit many specific uses. Bo Randall passed in 1989 but the handcrafting tradition continues with successive generations of the Randall family.
