Registers Great Annual Bike Ride Across Iowa.
It's a super fun and non-competitive bicycle tour that takes place across the beautiful state of Iowa, all the way from the western border to the eastern border. This incredible event has been around since 1973, and it's now the largest bike-touring event in the entire world. How cool is that!
In 2023, RAGBRAI celebrated its 50th ride, and it was an absolute blast. The route was similar to the first ride, but some changes were made. Instead of Fort Dodge, we stopped by Caroll, and the little town of Williamsburg was replaced by the much larger Coralville-Iowa City area. Oh, and the ride from Ames to Des Moines was insanely popular, with over 60,000 riders! It was definitely one for the books.
