What a beautiful sky on this summer trip to Finland. The Sibelius Monument was glistening in contrast to the soft and fragrant green pine trees. Eila Hiltunen's dramatic and musical sculpture is reminiscent of organ pipes. It is dedicated to the Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, and stands in the Sibelius Park in the Töölö district of Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. I have not seen this for decades and was surprised how shiny it remains!
