Peace...have we lost the meaning of the word? Jesus told his followers that He was leaving the world, yet He would give us the ability to receive peace. He also told them to not be afraid...He would provide the way to obtain that peace. This little hummingbird, flying into the sunset, makes a perfect setting for the words of Jesus...we can face anything that comes our way with Him. The world does not have this kind of peace...Jesus gives us true peace

I so much agree with this, Debby. Jesus was certainly the great example - not the exception. Pondering the natural perfection of these wondrous creatures brings to mind "consider the lilies. . ." verse. Again sometimes they are better followers of his example than we are! Exquisite capture here - especially the subtle sprinkles of gold -
