Description
When my children were little, they really disliked biking up the Carriage Roads to Paradise Hill on the northern side of Acadia National Park. I always loved this biking trip and now that my children are not camping with us as much anymore, I can take my time to enjoy all the beautiful scenery Acadia has to offer. You are looking out over Frenchman's Bay and Mount Desert Narrows towards Schoodic Peninsula. The boats below are moored in Hull's Cove. Additionally, Hull's Cove is also where you will find the Acadia National Park Visitor's Center where you can purchase your Acadia Parking Pass and learn all about Acadia. I highly recommend visiting the Visitor's Center before you venture out into the park. Acadia is seriously my favorite place on the planet, where Scotland is a very close second. Actually, both of these places have so much in common. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about Acadia National Park and Mount Desert Island.
