A very quick sketch of the winter sunset sky. After soaking in the hot tub, being filled with dusk and beautiful changing colors. The moon hides while the stars shine. And all I can think about is why.... just Why isn't there more green in the sky? You mix blue and yellow and you get green. Except when the sun goes gown. Just a fun palette knife flurry of emotion. This was an alla prima painting done with palette knife. It is heavily textured and reflects a lot of light. By www.CherylNancyAnnGordon.com
