This Phalaenopsis orchid has been made more exotic looking by retouching, post processing and a faux marble background to make a lovely work of art for the person or wall of your choice! Phalaenopsis, known as the Moth Orchid, abbreviated Phal in the horticultural trade, is an orchid genus of approximately 60 species. There are twice as many orchid species as bird species, and about four times as many as mammal species.
