Description
The leaves have all fallen off the stately birch tree outside my window. It is a dreary misty rainy autumn day. Nature displays her empathy, offers condolences and expresses sadness at the passing of another summer. As the cold sets in, condensation collects on the window glass and trickles down like heavy autumn tears as October weeps.

Such gorgeous artwork Hanne Lore!! What a delight Autumn is, one of love and wisdom. Autumn is such an elegant recycling process. The whole process whereby trees shed their leaves is practical as well as beautiful. By discarding their leaves the trees conserve water and energy during the winter. Ridding themselves of toxic waste that have built up during the summer. So after we get that dazzling spectacle, the fallen leaves provide fertilizer for new growth in the Spring (which I am looking forward to). Can you imagine a more attractive recycling process? When pausing to admire such handiwork, one may get a sense that 'the trees are all clapping their hand' as they give praise to their Maker, such wisdom from our Lofty God. (Isaiah 55:12; Psalm 148:7-9). I so enjoyed viewing this lovely artwork about such a wonderful season. LVFV Janet
