I was out on an afternoon walk at the Dyke and stopped to stare at the magnificence of the mountains in the distance. With Covid in her 2nd year , I pray the plants dear and wildlife get by this pandemic. I was just standing there with both feet planted in the grass when I felt I was being watched. I turned my head to the right and saw a Blue Heron studying me. I felt like I had landed on Cloud 9. I felt so grateful.
