Description
Nala is a pure-bred female Bengal cat. She is a very gentle and loving cat who has had several litters of pure-bred Bengal kittens and who really enjoys being a mother.
Bengals are a very popular breed of cats recognized by all of the world's major cat fancier associations. They were developed by hybridization and back breeding of domestic cats with the wild Asian Leopard Cat (Prionailurus bengalensis bengalensis). They retain the look of Asian Leopard Cat while also retaining the gentle temperament of a domestic cat. Bengal cats are generally a bright orange to light brown colour or off-white as in Snow Bengals (which contain the same white gene as Siamese cats). They have vividly marked coats with stripes, spots (rosettes) and other wild looking markings, and a whitish belly.
Bengals are very energetic, vocal and affectionate. They like water and they get along well with dogs. They are also known for their ability to leap to unbelievable heights and they love to sit and watch the world from the top of your highest cupboards or shelves.
