Description
Equinox Mountain, near Manchester, Vermont, is the highest peak in the Taconic range. The summit rises over 3800 feet above sea level. A well-maintained, but very steep and twisty toll road gets you to the top, where, on a clear day, you'll enjoy panoramic views to the north and south, stretching across the Vermont countryside and including glimpses of New York and New Hampshire in the distance. In this image, we're looking to the north over seemingly endless miles of verdant mountains and hills. A crystal blue sky is studded with white, puffy clouds that cast shadows and the forests below.
