Description
This digital photo painting was created from a photograph of an unfinished acrylic painting I was working on. I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with it, so I decided to paint it in the computer. This watercolor version is the result. I will finish the acrylic at some point and probably submit it as well.
This is my rendition of a coastal moon rise/set over an open body of water, such as the ocean, gulf or bay. The coastal land masses flank the rising/setting moon on both sides and the flow from the full moon reflects in the smooth water.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
