Description
I wanted to call this "Ignorance is Bliss"...this little calf, number twenty-two, was laying so innocently in the shade of the old shed on a hot summer morning. I would like to have taken him home and raised him into his old age. Alas, impossible.

Sandi, If you liked the book, then, I'm sure you would like the movie to: https://youtu.be/V1l3TboL5MI - it is not only one of the best Westerns, but also simply a great movie. :-)

For some strange reason your fabulous art-photo reminds me of the great movie 'Shane'. At least of the peaceful part of the little boy's life and his farm and family. :-)
Sandi Mikuse replied:
I vaguely remember that book, Hartmut! Boy, that takes me back a few years! Thank you for visiting my friend!

Everett, WA - United States
Yes Sandi you may have something here. The roof looks good. Maybe a little paint here and there. Milk delivered fresh right outside the door every morning. Wheels nearby in case later you decided to move it. But I'd wait a while to do so Sandi because that calf needs to get a little bigger before it tries pulling that cabin. Sandi did your real estate agent a farmer at one time ? Because I'm kind of getting the hint he was. Like / Favorite
Sandi Mikuse replied:
LOL! I had to pass this one up, too, Ken...too far from town. Although I did like the little calf! :)

Sandi, I just had to return to this. IT is so well done and the colors are clear as a bell! The calf is so adorable. I love animals and am on the borderline of becoming a vegetarian. But on the other hand, I still eat turkey & chicken. Speaking of turkey, we have a turkey in the oven..Happy Thankgsiving, dear Sandi. Thanks for the kind & gracous commnents. L/f
Sandi Mikuse replied:
Hello Anne! I hear you! It is hard to love animals and eat them at the same time! But turkey dinner is so delicious. Best wishes to you and your family, too! And you are always welcome ... I mean every word!
