It was the end of the day, the sheep began to gather, anticipating their owner coming for them to contain them for safe keeping over night.
Off in the distance is Mont Saint-Michel, surrounded by tidal waters, farms and of course my picturesque herd of sheep.
I sat on the image for awhile trying to decide how I wanted to edit this photo. In the end, the sheep needed to take center stage, not Mont Saint Michel...that and the setting sun highlighting the sheep. My favorite? The little guy with red ears and the black face.
I wonder if they get tiredof people taking photographs? I took a ton of them and just like at home...someone was always moving. I'm glad I took a bunch of photos. It was time of evening when the light changes minute to minute. It's hard to balance shutter speed keeping it as fast as possible and still capture the light limiting noise in the darker places in the photograph.
