Description
This may be my favourite tree in all of Monarch Park, although I suppose I have said and will say that about others. Without leaves, whether it's the shadow it casts on a sunny day, or the twisted tangle of branches against a cold winter sky, I love it without leaves. That said, it's a pretty special tree in all seasons and is featured in other images, such as Monarch Park - 680, and the study that began with Monarch Park - 120. This is very similar to another image that I shot three years earlier, Monarch Park - 285.
