Marblehead lighthouse lit for Christmas by Jeff Folger. Marblehead lighthouse is lit for the season by the Rotary club each year. They also run the lights at the 4th of July. In December they go up to the top and let down ropes that are run through pulleys to run up the 100' height. You can drive out to Chandler Hovey park where the lighthouse sits year round and have a picnic lunch although in December the biting winds make this better done from inside your car.
