Flushing in south Cornwall at low tide, where the Penryn River meet the Carrick Roads.
Just a short but hilly bike ride, Flushing Village has the nearest sandy beach to my home. At low tide the rock pools appear with their abundance of wildlife to sit and watch.
I love the coastal views from here as you can see Penryn up river, the town and docks of Falmouth opposite and The Roseland peninsular with St Anthony Lighthouse across Falmouth Bay.
